Company history
a.s.k. solutions traces its roots back to 2003, when the company started as askproductions. A key chapter is 13 years as the main BI and database consultant for KPMG across Norway, the Nordics and globally.
Timeline
- 2003 — Founded as askproductions, with a practical focus on database and IT consulting.
- 2000s — Many years working with archive products and services built on the Norwegian Noark standard.
- KPMG (13 years) — Main BI and database consultant across Norway, the Nordics and global deliveries, with a focus on reliability, performance and operations.
- Investing — Invested in and helped grow the startup Accountflow AS, from around 3,000 to 40,000 accounts.
- Angel investing — Active angel investments through ASK Holding AS.
- Today — a.s.k. solutions: consultancy, development, operations and database services (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB), and our own products.
- 2026 — a.s.k. solutions is once again a Red Hat partner.
