1. Scope
- Who we are: “a.s.k. solutions”, “we” and “us” mean a.s.k. solutions as (org.nr. 937 219 385), based in Drammen, Norway.
- What is covered: this website and any web application, portal, API, registry or other online service we operate that refers to these terms (together, the “Services”).
- Agreements take precedence: if you have a signed agreement, order or statement of work with us, that agreement governs where it conflicts with these terms.
- Acceptance: by using the Services you agree to these terms. If you use them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept on its behalf.
2. Acceptable use
You must use the Services lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts, or the systems behind them;
- disrupt, overload, or degrade the Services, or bypass rate limits or security controls;
- upload or distribute malware, spam, or content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties unless we have agreed to it in writing.
If you find a security issue, please report it to us responsibly rather than exploiting it.
3. Accounts and access
- Accurate details: keep the information on your account correct and up to date.
- Credentials: keep passwords, tokens and keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us: notify us without undue delay if you suspect your account or credentials have been compromised.
4. Your content
- Ownership: you keep all rights to data, files and other content you submit to the Services.
- Our use: you give us the rights needed to host, process, back up and transmit that content, only to provide and secure the Services.
- Your responsibility: you confirm you have the right to submit the content and that it does not break the law or these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, design, text and trademarks, belong to a.s.k. solutions or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose under these terms. Open-source components remain under their own licences.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services reliable, but unless agreed in writing we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance, and change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change significantly affects you, we will try to give reasonable notice.
7. Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with services run by others. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
8. Disclaimer and liability
- As is: unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those required by law.
- Limitation: to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
- Not excluded: nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or rights you have under mandatory law, including Norwegian consumer law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if it is needed to protect the Services or other users, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you an opportunity to retrieve your content.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy notice and data privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For significant changes, we will give notice through the affected Service or by email where we can. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably first. If that fails, disputes go to the Norwegian courts, with Buskerud District Court (Buskerud tingrett) as the agreed venue, unless mandatory law gives you the right to another venue.
